Thermacut Introduces RTS Torch Line
Thermacut, Inc. now offers the RTS line of replacement plasma torches. These torches will cover amperage ranges from 12 to 120 amps and are designed to operate on manual plasma cutting systems utilizing contact start (blow back or blow forward), high frequency, and capacitive discharge starting methods. The RTS torch utilizes a maximum flow technology that enhances consumable parts life, and employs both a parts in place (PIP) and safety lock trigger system for total on-the-job safety. The RTS torches will be offered with optional lead sets.

Thermacut Releases SIlverPro Electrodes
Thermacut has now released it's new SilverPro electrode, which combines the strengths of traditional copper and solid silver electrodes. The SilverPro consists of a copper body and a solid-silver insert, which allows for superior conductivity and thermal cooling properties. Thermacut Introduces Patented Tungsten Nozzle for HPR® Systems
Thermacut, Inc. has launched their new TungstenEX-® Nozzle as a direct replacement nozzle consumable for HPR® plasma cutting systems in 130Amp, 200Amp and 260Amp operations. This revolutionary patented improvement incorporates a tungsten alloy insert within the nozzle orifice to better handle extreme heat. Pure tungsten is extremely hard and durable and has the highest melting point of all the non-alloyed metals. When the TungstenEX-® Nozzle is matched with SilverEX-® Electrodes, consumable life is extended up to four times longer compared to standard copper nozzles and electrodes. Heavy users of HPR® high definition plasma cutting technologies will be the primary beneficiaries. All Thermacut replacement components are precision manufactured to meet or exceed OEM performance characteristics and are available for immediate shipping.

Thermacut, Inc Thermacut Super-Life™ Electrodes feature a silver wrapped hafnium insert which field use demonstrates improved cooling resulting in longer part life and increased production. Typical electrodes for low amperage high definition plasma cutting have direct contact between the hafnium insert and copper electrode body, where breakdown of the copper is common. The silver-wrapped hafnium insert inside of a Super-Life™ Electrode improves heat dispersion and provides a protective barrier against copper breakdown. The enhanced cooling effect leads to more start-ups and less change-outs. This advanced technology was granted patent number 6,177,647 by the United States Patent Office.
